Occasionally, there are software problems and/or security schemes in place that do not allow proper authentication to occur. If you having trouble receiving the KDAV Audio, the following may prove helpful:

REMEMBER: Always use lower case letters and no spacing when entering user name and password.

First, we suggest that you have the most recent Windows Media Player (for your operating system) installed. If you do not, you can obtain this from the Microsoft web site:
http://www.microsoft.com
Once installed, launch the Media Player and open the following URL:
http://stream.kdav.com/kdavam.asx

NOTE: If you are running Windows 98 first edition, you will need to stay with Windows Media Player 7.1; Windows 98 second edition needs Windows Media Player 9. Always check the Microsoft website for updates and technical information on their software.

If you have upgraded your Windows Media Player and still cannot connect, the following might be helpful (especially if you are using AOL):

• Download the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft.
  
• Once you have that downloaded, install it on your hard drive and use Internet Explorer to access the KDAV audio stream: http://stream.kdav.com/kdavam.asx
  
• Enter your information when prompted.
• Do not enter anything in the Domain box.

Select Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 to download the Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1) which will let you update the Internet Explorer 6 core technologies. It may automatically download a new version of IE 6 as well. It should self install.
